Logging in using the VPN Client to VP Research

Log on to your laptop. [Click OK when it tells you that it can't connect to the Network drive - you will be able to access them later]

  1. Dial-up as you normally do. [connection can be wired or wireless]
  2. Double click the VPN dialer shortcut on the desktop. VPRSRCH should be set as your default (this will be bold if set as default)
  3. Click Connect
  4. Enter your Username and Password [ same as you use at the office ]
  5. Select OK
  6. Select the Continue button in the Welcome Box.

You should now have access to Outlook directly.

NOTE: Outlook may be VERY slow and hang up at times because of factors beyond our control: a slow dial-up connection, Internet connectivity problems, large attachments - if so, use the Outlook Web Access.
